OUR MISSIOn
We know that the climate crisis is our biggest threat - and as it is man-made, we can solve it. A big part of the solutions lies in technologies that can help us significantly reduce the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
Many such climate technologies have been developed in Europe. Those climate tech founders have received enormous funding for their research and development, including seed capital for founding their start-up, but now they want to scale and are facing an enormous problem: the investment gap in the growth stage.
Our mission at World Fund is to bridge this gap for climate tech founders by providing the necessary capital from early to growth stage and giving access to the necessary network. We support the bold, visionary founders driven by the climate crisis to become the most successful entrepreneurs of the next decade.
The vision we share is that of a regenerative world. It is based on renewable energies, full circularity, regenerative systems and equitable solidarity. This is how we will succeed in living within our planetary boundaries and creating a sustainable life for our and future generations.
