Communications Internship

Who are we?

World Fund is a climate VC that raised €300m for our first fund, focusing on decarbonisation technologies to create a regenerative world. Our international team includes entrepreneurs, scientists, policy experts, and experienced investors united by a shared mission to tackle the climate crisis while generating strong financial returns.

Your Role

You will play a key part in growing our brand, engaging our community, and amplifying our mission to drive climate impact. You’ll work closely with our brand, communications, impact and investment teams to craft compelling campaigns, foster engagement, and position us as a thought leader in the climate tech space.

• Content strategy & creation: Support in developing and executing a content calendar that aligns with our mission showcasing industry insights, our portfolio companies, and positioning World Fund as a thought leader in climate tech investments.
• Research: Support the investment and communication team in creating compelling reports based on our technical internal deep dives.
• Events coordination and organisation: Coordinate and organise World Fund events and side-events in partnership with other VCs or other types of organisations.
• Brand building: Enhance our firm’s voice and position as a leading climate tech VC by supporting in the creation of high-quality, thought-provoking posts, comments, articles and newsletters. Assist in the development of content guidelines, brand voice, and style across multiple projects to ensure consistency across platforms.
• Performance tracking & reporting: Monitor and analyse social media performance, leveraging analytics to optimise content strategy and reporting results to leadership.
• Industry monitoring: Stay updated on climate tech trends, news, and social media best practices to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business, Journalism or STEM.
• Previous internship experience is desirable, preferably in managing events and social media, ideally within VC, tech, climate tech or impact investing in a pan-European setting.
• Copyrighting skills, with an ability to simplify complex topics and a flair for creating engaging and shareable content with a good understanding of climate technologies.
• Data-driven, able to analyse social media metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Fluent in English (German is a plus).
• Passionate about tackling climate change and building a regenerative world.
